Meeting Held Between Executive Director Liu Xiaochuan of Our Institute and Deputy Director Liu Lei of the Government Debt Research and Evaluation Center of the Ministry of Finance

In the afternoon of February 16, a team led by Executive Director Liu Xiaochuan of our Institute went to the Government Debt Research and Evaluation Center of the Ministry of Finance and held a meeting with their Deputy Director Liu Lei, the two parties made in-depth exchange over issues related to local government debt.

Deputy Director Liu Lei expressed heartfelt welcome to Executive Director Liu Xiaochuan and others for their visit, and expressed heartfelt gratitude for the attentions paid to local government debt by the experts and scholars like Director Liu. Executive Director Liu Xiaochuan introduced the current researches made by the Research Institute related to special local government debts and related progresses, and hoped to cooperate with the Government Debt Research and Evaluation Center of the Ministry of Finance to jointly discuss the implementation of comprehensive risk evaluation of local government debts. Deputy Director Liu Lei expressed her great support to this issue, and proposed to strengthen cooperation with the Research Institute, the two parties should jointly discuss the local government debt issue, so as to practically promote the secure and sustainable development of local government debts by spotting problems and finding solutions.

Office Director Liu Yonghe of our Institute and the related comrades in charge of the Government Debt Research and Evaluation Center of the Ministry of Finance also attended this meeting.
