China Institute of Public Finance, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and Zhejiang University Institute of Sharing and Development Signed Memorandum of Understanding and Held Symposium of Exchanges

On December 18, 2023, China Institute of Public Finance, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and Zhejiang University Institute of Sharing and Development signed Memorandum of Understanding and held Symposium of Exchanges. The meeting was presided over by Professor Liu Xiaochuan, Executive Director of the China Institute of Public Finance, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.

Firstly, Director Liu welcomed Professor Li Shi, Director of the Economics and Zhejiang University Institute of Sharing and Development on behalf of the Research Institute, Director Liu mentioned that he visited Professor Li Shi in the middle of this year, the two parties made preliminary discussion on the intention of cooperation, later the two parties made continuous exchanges, and finally promoted the signing of this memorandum of understanding for cooperation. Professor Li Shi thanked for the invitation by the China Institute of Public Finance and the School of Public Economics and Management of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics on behalf of Zhejiang University Institute of Sharing and Development, he indicated that the cooperation between the two parties is open, hoping that the signing of this memorandum of understanding could enable more interested external experts, scholars and personnel from industries to join, and integrate the joint force of all parties to comprehensively implement the matters of cooperation.

Later, Executive Director Liu Xiaochuan and Director Li Shi signed the memorandum of understanding for cooperation on behalf of the two parties.

After the signing ceremony, the Symposium of Exchanges officially began, firstly, Professor Fan Ziying, Director of the School of Public Economics and Management expressed his warm welcome to Professor Li Shi on behalf of his school, he believed that the subject of public administration of Zhejiang University ranks high on national level, and worthy for us to learn from, and he also hoped to take advantage of this signing of memorandum of understanding to help the subject of public administration of the school to make bigger advancement. Later, the attending teachers made exchanges and interactions with Professor Li Shi in their respective fields of cooperation and regarding to their thoughts in academic researches. Finally, Executive Director Liu Xiaochuan concluded the results of this Symposium, and hoped that we should, with the results of the Symposium today as the foundation, comprehensively develop and implement the various cooperation contents between the two parties.
