A Group Led by Executive Director Liu Xiaochuan of Our Institute Went to Henan for Survey and Research

A group led by Executive Director Liu Xiaochuan of our institute and Secretary Fang Fang of the Public Economics and Management went to Henan in early August for survey and research.

On August 6^th, the Henan surveying group of our institute had a meeting with Li Xinjian, Member of Party Standing Committee and Deputy Mayor of Luoyang City in Henan Province, Mayor Li sincerely welcomed our group, he talked about his hope that our experts and scholars can come to Luoyang more often and provide suggestions over the urban construction and economic development issues of Luoyang. Executive Director Liu Xiaochuan indicated that Mayor Li is a leader and pioneer who started the comprehensive cooperation between our institute and Henan Province, there will certainly be close contact with Luoyang City in the future to make our own contribution to the development of local government.

On August 7^th, the group of our institute had a meeting with Mayor He Xiong of Zhengzhou City in Henan Province, Mayor He said he’s very glad about the visit by the group of our institute, he mentioned that our institute had in-depth cooperation with the Development and Reform Commission of Henan Province when he served as the Director of that commission, and he hoped that the two parties can achieve more results of cooperation by setting foot in Zhengzhou. Executive Director Liu Xiaochuan introduced to Mayor He about the situation of previous cooperation with the Development and Reform Commission of Henan Province, and won praises and recognitions from Mayor He, and also hoped that the two parties can have deeper cooperation in even bigger field on new platforms, and believed that the cooperation between the two parties will definitely achieve fruitful results.

On August 8^th, the group of our institute went to the Finance Department of Henan Province for a meeting, the meeting was presided over by Deputy Director Li Ming of the Finance Department of Henan Province. Firstly, Executive Director Liu Xiaochuan introduced the background of earlier cooperation between the two parties, and made introduction to the Finance Department of Henan Province in the aspects of task research, talent cultivation, etc.; secondly, Secretary Fang Fang introduced the related situation of the School of Public Economics and Management, and also emphasized on the introduction about the China PPP Market Transparency Report; thirdly, Director Jin Limin and Deputy Director Zhou Mengjie of the Debt Office and Director Tang Li of the PPP Center of the Finance Department of Henan Province respectively made introduction to our party regarding the situation of their respective departments; finally, Deputy Director Li Ming expressed gratitude to our institute for the previous cooperation with the provincial department, and believed that there should be in-depth cooperation in multiple aspects including policy research, institutional construction, talent cultivation, etc. Meanwhile, both parties expressed the hope to continue the in-depth cooperation, and further deepen and expand the previous cooperations.

After completing the visit to the Finance Department of Henan Province, the group of our institute immediately went to the alumnus enterprise, Henan Jinghong Jishi Data Technology Co., Ltd. for a visit, and listened to the related business introduction from the company. Secretary Fang Fang of the School of Public Economics and Management indicated, alumnus are great fortune of this institute, leaders of this institute care about the development situation of alumnus, and hoped that there will be more resource sharing and win-win cooperation among the alumnus of this institute.

For the survey in Henan Province at this time, special gratitude shall be paid to our institute’s industrialization platform, Shanghai Hongyi, as the industrialization platform of our institute, Hongyi has made deep deployment in Henan Province for long time, and played important role in the healthy development of the partnerships in various aspects between our institute and Henan Province, the ones who participated in the survey and research in Henan Province also included Executive Director Jian Desan and Deputy Director Ma Guochen of the PPP Research Center of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, and Director Liu Yonghe of the General Office of China Public Finance Institute of Shanghai University of Finance and Economics.
