The Education Commission of Shanghai City Went To Our Institute To Hold Campus Safety Inspection Meeting and Research Base Reporting & Exchange Meeting

In the afternoon of January 20, 2022, a group led by Deputy Director Sun Zhenrong of the Education Commission of Shanghai City went to our institute to hold a meeting for reporting and exchange over the overall campus safety situation as well as the construction situation of several key research bases in the institute.

The first part of this meeting was reporting and exchange over campus safety situation, Deputy Principal Fang Hua of our institute made detailed report about the campus safety situation, which mainly included the aspects of campus safety work management, safety inspection and prevention of potential safety hazards, later the two parties made warm exchange and discussion over the effect of current safety work and the development of campus safety work in the future.

Next up, it was the reporting and exchange over the construction situation of frontier bases and coordination center in the institute. In this process, Professor Liu Xiaochun, the Executive Director of our institute, made reporting and demonstration of the works and achievements in various aspects since the research institute was established, mainly including the research institute’s history, organizational structure, scientific research results, domestic & international cooperations, etc. Besides our institute, Professor Ge Dongdong, Director of the Independent Solver R&D and Industrial Application Collaborated Innovation Center, Professor Wei Hang, Director of the Data Technology and Decision-making Frontier Scientific Research Base and Deputy Executive Director of Business School, and Professor Zhao Xiaolei, Director of the Free Trade Zone Research Institute also respectively reported the situation of their responsible research bases. After the reporting, the attending personnel made in-depth discussion and exchange over the direction of construction and development of research bases of this institute in the future.

The ones who attended this meeting also included Director Xu Kaiyu and Deputy Director Song Yichen and Ge Hao of Science & Technology Department of the Education Commission of Shanghai City, Li Zengquan, Principal Assistant of our institute, Director Ren Shenhui of the Party Committee and Principal’s Office, Director Peng Jianbin of the Logistics Department, Director Ni Zhixing of the Students Affairs Department, Director Chen Guoxin of the Basic Construction Department, Deputy Director Zheng Chunrong of the Scientific Research Department, Deputy Director Sun Chuantong of the Party Committee and Principal’s Office, Deputy Director Cao Shunan of the Security Guard Department as well as the principal comrades from other related departments and research bases of the institute.
