The Exchange Symposium of Anhui Provincial DoF and SHUFE Is Held at the University

On the morning of March 17, 2021, Luo Jianguo, Directorof Anhui Provincial Department of Finance and his entourage visited theUniversity for survey and held an exchange symposium with regard to mattersrelated to future cooperation between both parties.

This symposium was presided over by Zheng Chunrong,Deputy Director of the Scientific Research Office of the University. After themeeting commenced, Xu Fei, Executive Vice President of the University, first delivereda speech, in which he welcomed the arrival of Director Luo Jianguo and his entourage,explained the basic situation of the University, gave a key introduction to theprofessional think tanks of the School and several other schools of theUniversity, and stated that both parties can carry out comprehensivecooperation from multiple dimensions and perspectives. After that, Director LuoJianguo delivered a speech, in which he mentioned that one of the currentstrategic goals of Anhui Province is to integrate into the development of theYangtze River Delta, so it is necessary to cooperate and connect with thegovernment authorities in the Yangtze River Delta region and the universities within-depth research in this regard. In addition, he proposed some directions forcooperation.

In the subsequent exchanges and discussions, bothparties expressed their intentions on the future direction of cooperation andput forward suggestions.

After the end of the exchange symposium, DirectorLuo Jianguo and his entourage, accompanied by Executive Dean Liu Xiaochuan of theSchool, visited our university history museum and learned about our history anddevelopment process.

The leaders of relevant offices of Anhui ProvincialDepartment of Finance, leaders of the University’s administrative units andrepresentatives of think tanks also attended this symposium.
