China Public Finance Institute and Macquarie University Held Online Working Conference

OnNovember 26^th, 2020, to implement the cooperation plan of ChinaPublic Finance Institute with Faculty of Business and Economics of MacquarieUniversity and jointly deal with the challenges posed by COVID-19, China PublicFinance Institute held video working conference with Macquarie University. Executivedean Liu Xiaochuan, deputy dean Yu Hong, deputy dean Fan Ziying, and assistantdean Zhang Muyang of China Public Finance Institute, deputy dean of School ofPublic Economics and Administration of Shanghai University of Finance andEconomics, personnel of International Office of Shanghai University of Financeand Economics, deputy dean Philomena Leung of Faculty of Business and Economicsof Macquarie University, acting deputy dean Vito Mollica of Faculty of Businessand Economics of Macquarie University, director Andrew Heys of InternationalCooperation Department of Macquarie University, deputy director Stephen Fan of InternationalCooperation Department of Macquarie University (Liaison Office of ChinaRegion), and secretary Jenny Fang of International Cooperation Departmentof Macquarie University participated in the video conference.

Theconference was presided over by deputy dean Yu Hong of China Public FinanceInstitute. At the conference, both parties had deep discussion on thecooperation plan next year; confronted with the harsh COVID-19 situation, bothparties agreed to thoroughly utilize online platforms and planned to holdonline forums to implement the cooperation plan of the second China-AustraliaFinancial and Economic Development Forum of 2021. Besides, both parties alsohad discussion focusing on subject scientific research project cooperation,joint doctoral candidate cultivation, etc.
