Cooperation and Exchange Symposium Held Between Our Institute and the Sharing and Development Research Institute of Zhejiang University

On July 3, 2023, Executive Dean Liu Xiaochuan and Deputy Dean Yu Hong of our Institute visited the Sharing and Development Research Institute of Zhejiang University to attend the Cooperation and Exchange Symposium, the two parties discussed over matters of cooperation on multiple levels in the future. Those who attended this Cooperation and Exchange Symposium also included Li Shi, Dean of the Sharing and Development Research Institute of Zhejiang University, He Wenjiong, Deputy Dean and the Research Center for Livelihood Security and Public Governance of the Sharing and Development Research Institute of Zhejiang University, and Zhang Yuehua, Director of the Department of Social Security and Risk Management of the School of Public Administration of Zhejiang University.

The Symposium was presided over by Li Shi, Dean of the Sharing and Development Research Institute of Zhejiang University. At the Symposium, Executive Dean Liu Xiaochuan made brief introduction to the recent situation of the China Institute of Public Finance and its research on common prosperity, and also listened to the introduction made by the Sharing and Development Research Institute of Zhejiang University. Later, the two parties developed discussion and reached consensus in the aspects of forms of cooperation and contents of cooperation, and generated preliminary thoughts about cooperation. The two parties both believed that income distribution, social security and public finance are important contents of common prosperity research. The China Institute of Public Finance and the Sharing and Development Research Institute of Zhejiang University will draft memorandum of cooperation, so as to further strengthen academic exchange and cooperation through long-term research topic cooperation, joint holding of academic forums, etc.

After the Symposium, the group from our institute also visited Dean Zhao Zhirong of the School of Public Administration of Zhejiang University, Dean Zhao said he’s looking forward to fruitful results from our cooperation.
