The Preparation and Coordination Meeting for Three-Party International Academic Forum was Held in Beijing

In the afternoon of June 14, 2023, the Preparation and Coordination Meeting for Three-Party International Academic Forum between Japanese Hitotsubashi University, Shanghai University of Finance and the Economics and the Japan Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences was held at the Japan Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Professor Liu Xiaochuan, Executive Dean of our school, attended the meeting.

The meeting was presided over by Yan Kun, Party Secretary and Deputy Director of the Japan Research Institute of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. At this preparation meeting, the three parties mainly exchanged opinions over the member of leadership group and liaisons for preparation of the forum as well as the specific matters of the first forum. The three parties reached consensus through this preparation and coordination meeting over the aspects of the forum theme, forum agenda and meeting language, and confirmed to hold the first International Academic Forum in Tokyo in the second half of this year.

The people who also attended this preparation meeting included Representative Assistant Jia Shen of the China Exchange Center of Japanese Hitotsubashi University, Director Yang Bojiang of the Japan Research Institute, Director Tang Yongliang of the Scientific Research Department, Deputy Director Ren Tianzheng of the Economics Office, Director Zhang Jianli and Assistant Researcher Guo Pei of the Social Culture Office of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, as well as the Office Director Liu Yonghe of our school.
